About 15 to 30 minutes prior to the beginning of the battle A Troop passed several pair of Vietnamise dressed in ARVN uniforms. After the battle, several enemy bodies were clothed in ARVN Uniforms.BB

I'm told that when the Infantry arrived the CO asked CPT Sturgis what he could do for him. CPT Sturgis replied that his men needed a hot meal and a nights rest. The infantry, 1/28th, surrounded A Troop until the next day. BB

Avery Smith and Roger Conner were hometown friends. They were both assigned to A Troop. They were both KIA at Ap Tau O.
